We mentioned here that banker-shill, Mike Stevens, introduced a bill that attempted to amend the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) to limit the definition of “money” to exclude cryptocurrencies, while paving the way for CBDC acceptance.
“Based” South Dakota governor, Kristi Noem, appears to have veto’d that bill (as predicted).
I VETOED HB 1193. This bill adopts a definition of ‘money’ to specifically exclude crypto like Bitcoin. And it opens the door to the risk that the federal government could adopt a Central Bank Digital Currency.

“South Dakota will always stand for economic freedom”..
This is certainly nice to see. Hopefully more of these attempts get shut down in similar fashion.
Or, even better, in the instances where these freedom-restricting bills actually get passed, everyone just ignores them and uses crypto anyway.
